hello, my name is Chris.
WordPress developer with 14+ years of production experience building themes, plugins, and full-stack web applications. I like clean code, fast interfaces, and things that just work.
the full picture
I've been building for the web for over a decade, mostly in theWordPress ecosystem— theme and plugin development, block editor internals, REST API work, the whole stack. I've led development on plugins with millions of downloads and built freemium products from scratch.
I also work in React, Next.js, and TypeScriptwhen the project calls for it. I care about writing code that's easy to come back to six months later, APIs that make sense, and not overengineering things that should be simple.
Outside of web dev I run a small self-hosted infrastructuresetup, tinker with CNC and embedded projects, and generally just like building things — digital or otherwise.
